Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association (VTRA) was formed in 1982 to provide a therapeutic riding experience to children and adults with diverse abilities throughout the Greater Victoria area. Today, VTRA is a non-profit charitable organization that uses horseback riding as a recognized therapeutic aid and offers a variety of equine-assisted activities to more than 200 children and adults throughout the region.

Please join us on Friday, August 16 between 1:30 and 3:00 at Hamsterley Beach, Elk Lake, for our 4th annual community picnic.
Lunch and refreshments will also be provided. For the curious and playful there will be an opportunity to participate in swimming in the lake. Access to a water chair is on hand for those who need it. There are also accessible washrooms on site.
